Kalbi Taco Shack: All-American Success Story
Sue Wong-Shackelford is owner and head chef, providing inspired recipes born out of deep roots in St. Louis' Asian cuisine. But Cheryl Baehr at the RFT agrees with me that the family effort is really what makes Kalbi's such a joyful place to be. My usual is a short rib rice bowl with a coconut bubble tea (extra boba please), but you've gotta try all the options for yourself!
